If a hydraulic hose keeps failing in the same location, stop replacing it like-for-like until the cause has been checked. ENZED® can help identify common hose and fitting issues such as abrasion, incorrect routing, tight bend radius, pressure mismatch or poor protection, then support a more suitable replacement through your local Service Centre or HOSE DOCTOR® mobile service where available.
A hydraulic hose that keeps leaking, rubbing through, bursting or failing early is usually a sign of an underlying issue. The hose may be wearing against a bracket, bending too tightly, twisting during operation, running too close to heat, or being used in an application beyond its pressure or movement requirements.
Replacing the hose may get the machine running again, but if the cause of the failure is not addressed, the same problem can return. For equipment that works under load, vibration, heat, dirt, impact or constant movement, repeat hose failure should be treated as a warning sign.
