Leading hose and fitting company, ENZED has a long involvement with NZ motorsport which has seen the business invest heavily in all forms of racing categories. In January 2015, the sheer strength of ENZED’s support will be on full display.
ENZED have announced a major partnership with Highlands Motorsport Park which will see the national supplier take the presenting rights of The Festival of Speed event. The event is now named The Highlands Festival of Speed connected by ENZED.
The signing of this agreement goes further than just the event sponsorship. Thanks to ENZED, the Festival of Speed will now feature the ultimate rivalry in motorsport – a Trans-Tasman battle of the Touring Car Goliaths!
“The Highlands Festival of Speed connected by ENZED will see us bring together the biggest combination of ENZED’s motorsport categories we’ve ever assembled,” said ENZED NZ’s James Coulter
“ENZED is heavily committed to historic touring car racing both here and in Australia. We are the naming rights holders of the the Central Muscle Cars and Touring Car Masters and we have used this association to bring both of these categories together for a one-off event in January,” added Coulter.
“Not only that, we also have plans to leverage our sponsorship with the Jetsprint Boats by having demonstrations and promotional winner rides on Highlands’ Loch Ness during the event as well.
The two-day festival takes place over the weekend of 30 January and 1 February at Highlands’ world-class motorsport and entertainment complex in Cromwell, Central Otago. Fans of all ages and persuasions can enjoy a weekend of classic car racing, classic and retro displays of cars, motorcycles, caravans and boats, as well as other fun, classic-styled entertainment and activities for all the family.
Highlands’ business development manager Josie Spillane credits ENZED with creating the ultimate motorsport rivalry at Highlands as the headline act of the classic festival is the first-ever trans-Tasman battle between the hugely-popular Australian Touring Car Masters and New Zealand’s own highly-regarded ENZED Central Muscle Cars.
“We’re understandably delighted to welcome ENZED as a partner for the Festival of Speed,” says Ms Spillane. “ENZED is a passionate supporter of motorsport on both sides of the Tasman and, working together, we’re sure that the combined appeal of the ENZED Touring Car Masters and the ENZED Central Muscle Cars means this event will further raise the standard of entertainment for which Highlands has become renowned.
