ENZED Sponsored Supercars Driver Cameron Waters this week announced that he has re-signed with Prodrive Racing Australia for a further two years, keeping him at PRA until at least the end of the 2019 season. Waters is currently 10th in points in his second year in the top-tier Supercars category after a tough debut year in 2016.
Peter Caughey is known as the ‘Jet Sprint King’ and with 7 world championships and 11 New Zealand Championships over a 27 year time frame, who could argue? Earlier this year Caughey captured his 11th national championship when he dominated the final round at Wanaka in April. In the midst of Cyclone Cook, Caughey battled the poor air pressure which resulted in a loss of around 100hp to snap up a classic victory.
ENZED were in attendance for the Quarry NZ Conference held in Auckland over the previous weekend. The event is a fantastic opportunity for all those involved in the quarrying industry to interact and exchange ideas.
Back in April, Mike Lowe and Team ENZED Abarth successfully took part in the 2017 Targa Tasmania and were able to keep the team’s incredible 19 year finishing record in tact despite a host of obstacles throughout the event. The works-built Fiat Abarth 500 Assetto Corse Rallye was able to negotiate the notoriously challenging Tasmanian roads to finish 4thin class, beating home a third of the field! The result achieved despite accrued penalties as a consequence of repairs made to the car earlier in the week.
