ENZED Rotorua - ENZED Service Centre Manager

Parker Hannifin is New Zealand's leading supplier of Hydraulic hose and fittings. Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an ENZED Service Centre Manager at our ENZED Store in Rotorua.

Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, you will oversee the activities of the company owned ENZED Service Centre including coordinating and directing the workload and activities of Service Centre staff and Hose Doctors.

Representative Activities:

 

  • Manage the overall activities of the Company owned ENZED                                                   franchise
  • Develop business opportunities surrounding the activities of the service center, ensuring the growth of Hose Doctor territories and sales in general
  • Provide a retail outlet environment to promote Parker products and services
  • Provide leadership and development of all service center staff, inclusive of employed Hose Doctors
  • Business manage the activities of franchised Hose Doctors in accordance with agreed Hose Doctor contracts and policies
  • Provide a conduit between the Company and franchised Hose Doctors
  • Assemble hoses on site when needed (training will be provided)
  • Maintain an agreed budget under which the Service Centre can operate at an optimum commercial level
  • Actively promote the development of all aspects of the Company Owned ENZED franchise through hands-on business development.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant acts and regulations and with professional and ethical standards

 

Qualifications/Education/Skills:

 

  • Business related trade discipline
  • Trade certification in Hydraulics or equivalent
  • Premier Customer Service qualities
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Ability to effectively co-ordinate tasks
  • Capable of exerting excellent time management skills
  • Superior communication skills

 

Experience:

 

  • Service Centre Management
  • Franchise related business

ENZED Rotorua - ENZED Counterhand / Hose Assembly

Parker Hannifin is New Zealand's leading supplier of Hydraulic hose and fittings. Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a Counterhand available at our ENZED Store in Rotorua.

Reporting to the ENZED Service Center Manager, you will have the opportunity to multi-skill and be involved with the following duties:

  • Inwards & outwards goods including all associated paperwork transactions
  • Store all products as per company regulations, FIFO etc.
  • Raise, process, receipt internal hose doctor transfer orders
  • Raise, process, receipt External customer orders
  • Manufacture hose assemblies and hose kits, machine and weld as required (Host assembly training will be provided)
  • Produce packaging as required      
  • Perform any other tasks related to distribution of goods
  • Maintain store stock levels as per corporate goal
  • Complete regular cycle counts of store and hose doctor locations
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the shops annual stocktake
  • Customer counter sales and phone enquiries
  • Despatch hose doctors to service jobs and follow up where applicable
  • Meet with suppliers and reps
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant acts and regulations as well as professional and ethical standards
  • Implement all applicable quality assurance procedures and participate in relevant quality related functions
  • Be fully conversant with the provisions of the company’s procedure manuals and safety/work instructions
  • Actively participate in the CI/LEAN Program and promote Parker’s WIN Strategy
  • In carrying out all duties the major focus must be on premier customer service

 

Qualifications/Education/Skills:

  • Relevant Trade or TAFE qualifications
  • Intermediate knowledge of Mainframe and PC systems
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, plan and organize daily tasks efficiently and accurately in order to achieve the objectives of the position within set timelines

 

Experience:

  • Broad exposure to hose assembly in both the Industrial & Hydraulic hose markets
  • Intermediate knowledge of customer service procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude and/or fluid power industry experience preferable
